About
PRIME Orchestra comes out of Kharkiv, Ukraine, and mixes the sound of a full rock band with a crossover symphony orchestra. The result sits somewhere between symphonic rock and rock opera, with strong vocal soloists out front rather than a single frontman. Their repertoire leans on rock classics from the golden decades, the kind of songs a lot of people grew up with and still tie to their best memories. They rework those songs with strings and orchestral arrangements alongside a proper rock lineup, so familiar tunes get a bigger, more cinematic treatment. One of their shows is called Rock Sympho Show, which sums up the idea pretty well.
