About
Also known as: Priscilla Ann Block
Priscilla Block turned a breakup run in with an ex into a career. In 2020 she posted a live clip of "Just About Over You" on TikTok, it went viral, and a fan in California even started a GoFundMe so she could record it. Three weeks after writing it, she cut the song in a studio, and it climbed to number one on the iTunes chart while Nashville labels came knocking. She signed with Mercury Nashville, and the track went on to become a top 20 country hit and reached number 81 on the Billboard Hot 100. Before that, she had been building up a catalogue of songs about self love and acceptance, including "Thick Thighs" and "PMS", plus a debut EP called Different Route. Her sound mixes country with pop and southern rock, and she describes it herself as "a little sass, a little trash and a little sad". Kelly Clarkson, Miranda Lambert, Dolly Parton and Chris Stapleton are among her influences.
