Quavo

About

Also known as: Quavious Keyate Marshall, Quavious Marshall, Quavo Huncho, Unc

Quavo has been one of the most recognisable voices in trap music over the past decade, first as the frontman of Migos and then as a solo force in his own right. Migos, the group he formed with Takeoff and Offset in 2008, put out four commercially successful studio albums and became a cultural touchstone of the genre, with their 2013 single "Versace" kicking off their rise to mainstream attention. Outside the group, Quavo racked up an impressive string of guest spots, appearing on hits like Post Malone's diamond certified "Congratulations", Justin Bieber's "Intentions", and DJ Khaled's "I'm the One", which hit number one on the Billboard Hot 100. His 2018 debut solo album Quavo Huncho peaked at number two on the Billboard 200 and included the platinum single "Workin Me". After the tragic death of Takeoff in November 2022, Quavo channelled his grief into Rocket Power, a 2023 album released in his nephew's memory. The record featured the single "Turn Yo Clic Up" with Future and showed a more personal side of an artist who had always been known for his cool, melodic delivery.
