Randy Houser had already left his mark on country music before most people knew his name as a performer. He co wrote Trace Adkins' smash "Honky Tonk Badonkadonk" alongside Jamey Johnson and Dallas Davidson, and that songwriting instinct runs through everything he does. When he stepped into the spotlight himself, signed to Universal South Records in 2008, his debut single "Anything Goes" cracked the top 20 and "Boots On" followed as his first top ten hit, earning him two CMA nominations that year. His third album, How Country Feels, is where things really clicked. The title track went to number one, "Runnin' Outta Moonlight" followed it there, and "Goodnight Kiss" topped the Mediabase Country Chart. "Like a Cowboy" rounded out the run with a Song of the Year nomination at the 2015 CMAs. His fourth album, Fired Up, kept the momentum going with "We Went" reaching number one on the Country Airplay chart. On top of all that, he landed on screen in Martin Scorsese's film Killers of the Flower Moon in late 2023.
