Most people first clocked Reneé Rapp when she stepped into the role of Regina George on Broadway in Mean Girls, and she held that part from 2019 until the show closed in 2020. She then reprised it for the 2024 musical film adaptation, contributing to the soundtrack too, which put her in front of a much wider audience. Around the same time, she was one of the four leads in Mindy Kaling's HBO Max comedy series The Sex Lives of College Girls. Music is clearly where her heart is, though. Her 2022 debut EP Everything to Everyone was followed by her full studio album Snow Angel in 2023, a record that got a deluxe edition later that year including a remix with Coco Jones. Her second album Bite Me arrived in August 2025, with the lead single "Leave Me Alone" previewed at the American Music Awards. She blends pop and alternative pop in a way that feels personal rather than polished, and her live shows have consistently sold out and upgraded venues.
