About
Rianne is a Dutch indie pop artist who spent her earlier years working under the name The Indien before deciding to go by her own name. Frontwoman Rianne Walther is known for a high voice that people often compare to Stevie Nicks, and over time the project became a regular fixture in the Dutch indie scene. She built up a catalogue of EPs, including Cologne and Hiatus, before releasing a self titled debut album in 2024. That record opened doors to festivals like Best Kept Secret and Concert at SEA, plus a support slot for DI RECT at De Kuip. She has also recorded a duet with Marcel Veenendaal, How Am I Gonna Love Myself. The switch to her own name was a personal one: she no longer wanted to hide anything and chose to be fully visible as herself.
