About
Also known as: ライズ, 라이즈
Riize came out of SM Entertainment's big "SM 3.0" rebuild, and their debut was a statement: the single album Get a Guitar sold over a million copies in its first week, the second best first week ever for a rookie group's debut. Two of the members, Shotaro and Sungchan, had already spent time in NCT before moving over to this new lineup, which now stands at six with Eunseok, Wonbin, Sohee and Anton. Since then they have kept the releases coming. "Talk Saxy" followed that first outing, then "Love 119" picked up their first music show wins and a Japanese version marked their Japanese debut. Their first EP Riizing arrived in 2024, the debut studio album Odyssey in 2025, and the second EP II, led by the uptempo "Do your dance", landed in 2026. They signed with RCA Records for activities in the United States too, so the ambitions clearly go beyond Seoul.
