About
Rocket Guy is the Elton John tribute act fronted by pianist and singer Guy Harris, who plays up the flamboyant, piano pounding side of the young Elton. The setlist runs from the obvious big ones like "Rocket Man" and "Your Song" to less expected picks such as "Pinball Wizard", all played straight from the heart with a dose of humour between songs. Harris is a seasoned piano entertainer who spent years on stage with Crazy Pianos and in piano bars around the world before taking on the Elton role. He has played piano at a high level for most of his life and went on to vocal studies with David Lowe of the King's Singers and David Aldred of English National Opera. The result is a show built on clear singing and real piano energy, aimed at anyone who loves proper rock and roll.
