Rockkoor Oss

About

Rockkoor Oss is a rock choir from Oss that turns big rock songs into singalong events. Their sound is a wall of voices that has only grown louder and fuller since they first took the stage at the Groene Engel in Oss, which became a kind of home base for them. The repertoire leans on rock classics from the likes of Metallica, Nirvana, Foo Fighters and Green Day. For their Christmas shows they twist things further by mixing those anthems with seasonal songs in the spirit of Mariah Carey and Bing Crosby, all with a rock edge. They team up with live musicians to push the songs higher, including Rajen Makhan of the Mango Chili band and Maarten Verhoog of Rattle Snake Shake & The Dutch Horsemen. Their nights usually end with a rock karaoke afterparty for anyone who still has voice left.
