About
ROOD Singalong is a live production built around the catalogue of Dutch pop star Marco Borsato, performed by a band of around twenty musicians drawn from the Netherlands and Belgium. Rather than a tribute act or an imitation, the show centres on the original songs and the iconic arrangements by John Ewbank, brought to life with a full orchestra featuring brass, strings, backing vocals and a rhythm section. Vocalist Marc van Demen fronts the ensemble. The musicians involved have previously shared stages with major national and international artists. The concept leans heavily into communal participation, inviting the audience to sing along to well known hits throughout the evening.
