About
Rosie Lowe announced herself with the single 'Right Thing' back in 2013, and her voice, somewhere between brooding alternative R&B and shimmering electropop, made people pay attention fast. Her 2016 debut album Control pulled together some of her best work, including the singles 'Worry Bout Us' and 'Woman', the latter later turning up on the soundtrack for the 2017 film The Last Word. The album also featured rapper Little Simz on the track 'So Human', a collaboration that showed off just how well Lowe's sound sits alongside hip hop. She has kept busy since, releasing the album YU in 2019 and then Son in 2021, a collaborative project with musician Duval Timothy that came packaged with a children's book. That same year she put out the EP Now, You Know. Most recently, she released the album Lover, Other in 2024, confirming she is an artist who keeps pushing in new directions rather than repeating herself.
