Her 2011 compilation The Best of Rossa sits third on the all time best selling albums list in Indonesia, shifting over five million copies, and her 2014 album Love, Life and Music set a national record by selling more than 100,000 CDs in a single day. Her sound sits at the crossroads of Indonesian pop and Malay pop, and her songs have served as theme music for over 170 films and TV series. The single Ayat Ayat Cinta alone clocked more than 700,000 downloads in Malaysia. In 2019 she became the first Indonesian and Southeast Asian artist to sign with SM Entertainment, and her 2023 album Another Journey: The Beginning, the first part of a planned trilogy, went multi platinum with over 500,000 copies sold.
