About
Royal Republic are a Malmö based garage rock four piece who've been making gloriously loud, hooky rock since 2007. Their debut We Are the Royal made an immediate dent, landing all three singles at number one on Bandit Rock's Most Wanted List and placing tracks on the F1 2011 soundtrack. Tommy Gun even topped the MTV Rocks charts, which is a pretty solid start. Over the years they've toured with Social Distortion, Die Toten Hosen and blink 182, played Rock am Ring, and even detoured into acoustic country territory with The Nosebreakers project. Their sixth studio album LoveCop arrived in 2024, and in 2025 the band leaned into full comedy mode with The Blastbeaters, a fictional death metal alter ego through which they released a four track EP of covers including Stayin Alive and Go West. Silly? Yes. Fun? Absolutely.
