Søren Torpegaard Lund is a Danish pop singer from Svendborg Municipality who made his first move onto the national stage in 2023, entering Dansk Melodi Grand Prix, the Danish selection for the Eurovision Song Contest. That run ended before the super final, but he came back swinging three years later with the song Før vi går hjem, and this time he won. The victory earned him the chance to represent Denmark at Eurovision 2026, held in Vienna, Austria. Two shots at the same competition, two very different outcomes.
