About
Sam Roberts has been one of Canada's most consistent rock acts since his debut EP The Inhuman Condition cracked the charts in 2002. His major label debut We Were Born in a Flame went double platinum and swept the 2004 Juno Awards, taking Album of the Year, Rock Album of the Year, and Artist of the Year. He pulled off Artist of the Year again in 2005 and 2009, and across two decades he ranked among the top 60 best selling Canadian artists in the country. Starting with 2011's Collider, he rebranded as Sam Roberts Band, a move that kept the momentum going through albums like Lo Fantasy and Terraform. The band's most recent release is The Adventures of Ben Blank from 2023, featuring the tracks Picture of Love and I Dream of You. He also runs a side project called Anyway Gang, which dropped its debut album in 2019.
