About
Sander Kwarten is a singer from Breda whose name has become firmly embedded in Dutch language popular music, the kind of feel good, sing along levenslied that fills café terraces and festival tents across the Netherlands. He broke through with 'Hart van Steen', which reached the Dutch Charts Single Top 100 in 2010, and has been building his catalogue steadily ever since. Songs like 'Geen Twijfel', 'Ik Laat Je Nooit Meer Gaan', 'Spreken Zonder Woorden' and 'Laat Ze Nou Maar' have together racked up more than 30 million streams, and 'Geen Twijfel' earned him a gold record in 2023. His more recent single 'De Tapster Uit Tijuana', produced by Manfred Jongenelis, shows how he keeps blending a classic Dutch sound with contemporary production. The writing stays true to what his audience comes for: relatable stories and melodies that stick around long after the song ends.
