Sarah Connor has sold seven million albums worldwide and holds a record no other German act can claim: four consecutive number one singles on the German Singles Chart. Born in Delmenhorst and performing under her stage name since signing with X Cell Records in 2000, she built her reputation on a rich blend of pop, soul and R&B, with her breakthrough ballad 'From Sarah with Love' hitting the top spot in Germany, Poland, Portugal and Switzerland. Her run of successful albums through the 2000s, from Green Eyed Soul to Soulicious and beyond, cemented her as one of the most consistent German pop vocalists of her generation. In 2015 she pivoted to singing entirely in German with Muttersprache, which went straight to number one, proving her audience had no interest in seeing her slow down. She has also made her mark on German television, serving as a judge on the German X Factor and appearing in the beloved Sing meinen Song exchange concert series.
