About
Saxuo is a saxophone duo that strips things back to just two saxophones and nothing else. Their approach leans on the interplay between two simultaneous melodic lines, weaving them together in a way that creates the impression of a fuller ensemble. The saxophone is already a naturally expressive melodic instrument, and Saxuo uses that quality to build atmospheric, mood driven pieces. The result is music that feels surprisingly rich and tense for such a minimal setup.
