About
Baroque violinist Sayuri Yamagata performs early music with a focus on the sonata repertoire that spread across Europe in the second half of the seventeenth century. Together with harpsichordist Noriko Amano, she leads the ensemble Pearls in Baroque through sparkling performances of works ranging from Rosenmüller to Bach. Their programmes trace the journey of baroque instrumental music from its Italian origins to its full flowering across the continent.
