Scott H. Biram goes by another name too: The Dirty Old One Man Band. That title pretty much tells you everything. Playing blues, punk, and outlaw country all at once, he has carved out a serious reputation as one of the most committed one man band acts around, touring the US, Canada, and Europe continuously since 1998 and hitting stages from CBGB to Lincoln Center to the Hollywood Palladium. His grit is not just an aesthetic either. One month after a near fatal head on collision with a semi truck left him with a broken femur, knee, foot, and arm and internal injuries serious enough to require removing part of his intestine, he was back performing. Signed to Chicago's Bloodshot Records, Biram has put out a steady string of records that touch on gospel, country, and raw blues. Something's Wrong / Lost Forever hit number 5 on the Billboard Blues Chart, and The Bad Testament debuted at number 3 on the same chart. His 2020 album Fever Dreams features covers of Gary Stewart and David Allan Coe alongside guest guitar from Jesse Dayton. He is particularly known for his trucker themed originals like 18 Wheeler Fever and Reefer Load.
