About
Sean Tyas built his reputation the hard way, starting with a remix contest win that caught the attention of Sander van Doorn, then quickly following it up with his debut single 'Lift', which shot to number one and earned him 'Best New DJ' nods from both Mixmag and Beatport. From there he became one of trance music's most dependable hitmakers, landing a BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix and a string of chart toppers, including 'Seven Weeks', which sat at number one for twelve consecutive weeks. His remix credits read like a who's who of the genre: Tiësto, Above & Beyond, Dash Berlin, and a co production with Armin van Buuren. The New York born, Switzerland based DJ has played everywhere from Tomorrowland to Ultra Music Festival and signed a multi album deal with Black Hole Recordings in 2014, releasing his debut LP there in 2015. He runs Regenerate Records alongside British DJ Activa, and his long running radio show Tytanium Sessions keeps his fanbase fed with fresh material every month on di.fm.
