Sebastián Yatra has a knack for sitting right at the crossroads of heartfelt Latin ballads and hard hitting reggaeton, and that tension is what makes him interesting. The Colombian singer from Medellín first broke wide open with "Traicionera", a reggaeton, trap and EDM flavored single that went double platinum in Colombia and cracked the Billboard Hot 100. His debut album Mantra followed, a collection he described as built around positive energy and love, and it landed singles like "Sutra" with Dalmata and the chart topping "Ya No Tiene Novio" with Mau y Ricky. Collaborations have been a big part of his story too, from linking up with Carlos Vives on the ASCAP winning "Robarte un Beso" to the bilingual "Runaway" alongside Daddy Yankee, Natti Natasha and the Jonas Brothers. In 2024 he stepped off the music stage entirely and onto Broadway, playing Billy Flynn in Chicago.
