SG Lewis, the Reading born producer and songwriter whose real name is Sam Lewis, has built a reputation for blurring the lines between dance floor euphoria and late night introspection. His sound pulls from disco, funk, and electronic music while keeping things intimate enough to feel personal, which is a balance not many producers manage to pull off. His debut album Times arrived in 2021 after years of releasing music in ambitious trilogy form, a three part project called Dusk, Dark and Dawn that showed off his knack for collaboration, working with Clairo, Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs, and Bruno Major along the way. The Clairo track "Better" hit number one on the iTunes Electronic Chart and was named Clara Amfo's Track of the Week on Radio 1. His second album AudioLust and HigherLove followed in 2023, with contributions from Lucky Daye and Ty Dolla Sign. He has also collaborated with Robyn, Dua Lipa, Tove Lo, and Jessie Ware, which tells you something about the circles he moves in.
