Simply Quartet, a young string quartet with roots in Shanghai and the United Kingdom, has built a reputation for playing with genuine warmth and bringing music to life in a way that feels immediate rather than academic. The group previously held the Rising Stars distinction, a platform that has launched many of the most serious young chamber ensembles in Europe. Their repertoire centres on the classical and romantic canon, with Haydn, Mozart and Mendelssohn among the composers they perform regularly.
