Out of Brighton, Snake Eyes are a two piece who describe their own sound as grit pop, which turns out to be a pretty accurate label. Vocalist and guitarist Jim Heffy and drummer Thomas Coe Booker pack a surprisingly full sound for just two people, blending grunge, punk and melodic alternative rock into something that feels both rooted in the 1990s and thoroughly present tense. Raw guitars, catchy hooks and straight talking lyrics are the building blocks. Their album 'cash rich' poses the question of what being wealthy actually means, arguing that real richness has more to do with connection, hope, personal growth and doing right by other people and the planet than with money. On the road they have shared bills with You Me At Six, Kid Kapichi and The Meffs. Live, the duo are known for performances that lean hard into passion and authenticity, which makes sense given how much the songwriting itself seems to mean what it says.
