About
Also known as: Sofia Isella Miranda
Sofia Isella has a knack for making pop music that feels like a horror film. She turns up in baggy, colourless clothes, covered in dirt, and her videos and artwork lean into macabre imagery. The songs dig into womanhood, misogyny, religion and porn, mixing art pop, industrial, gothic pop and spoken word, with Trent Reznor and Sylvia Plath among her named influences. She blew up on TikTok, and her 2023 single Hot Gum pulled in 10 million streams. From there she opened for Melanie Martinez, Tom Odell, Taylor Swift and Florence and the Machine. Her EPs include I Can Be Your Mother in 2024, I'm camera. in 2025, and Something is a shell., made with Mr Hudson, in April 2026. In 2025 she headlined her own world tour across the US, Europe and Australia.
