About
Soft Palms is a dream pop duo from Long Beach, built around Julia Kugel and Scott Montoya. They record, produce and mix everything themselves out of their own studio, which they call Centre of Mental Arts (COMA), keeping the whole process well outside the conventional label and studio system. The sound they make sits somewhere between lo fi warmth and carefully layered textures, landing in a zone that feels meditative and cinematic at the same time. Their album IN ECHO came out on Everloving Records.
