About
State Champs have been one of pop punk's most consistent forces since forming in Albany, New York in 2010. Signed to Pure Noise Records, they hit the ground running with their 2013 debut The Finer Things, which landed at number 2 on the Billboard Heatseekers chart and cracked the Billboard 200. From there they kept building, touring relentlessly alongside acts like New Found Glory, All Time Low, 5 Seconds of Summer and A Day to Remember, and scoring a cover of Alternative Press with Neck Deep. Their sound sits comfortably in the pop punk and emo pop space, though they have shown range, releasing an acoustic EP alongside their heavier material. Five studio albums in, including Living Proof in 2018, Kings of the New Age in 2022 and a self titled record in 2024, they keep proving they are built for the long haul. A full set at Vans Warped Tour in 2025 shows they are very much still at it.
