About
Status Quotes is a Dutch tribute act dedicated to Status Quo, with a sharp focus on the pre 1980 catalogue from the era of the so called Frantic Four lineup. Songs like "Down Down", "Roll Over Lay Down" and "Whatever You Want" are all in their set, alongside deeper album cuts that the devoted fan will recognise. The band features Toon Eppink on guitar and vocals, Raymond Nijenhuis on guitar and vocals, Harry Kruisselbrink on bass, harmonica and vocals, and Rens Hardijzer on drums. Their reputation stretches well beyond the Netherlands. At the 2018 Quo Convention in Minehead, England, they played to around a thousand fans and afterwards received praise from original Status Quo bassist Alan Lancaster and drummer John Coghlan. A second invitation followed for the Quo Convention in Glasgow. Andrew Cremona, a close personal friend of the late Quo guitarist Rick Parfitt, makes Parfitt's own guitars available to the band for their Rick Parfitt Memorial performances.
