Still Woozy

About

Also known as: Sven Eric Gamsky

Still Woozy is the solo project of Oakland born Sven Eric Gamsky, making hazy, feel good bedroom pop that NME tagged as "psychedelic bedroom pop" and that has a way of sounding both polished and effortlessly loose at the same time. He picked the name because of his own self described spaced out nature, which pretty much sums up the vibe. His song "Cooks" landed in the 2018 Netflix film The After Party, and "Window" ended up in FIFA 21, helping push his music to a much wider audience. His 2021 debut album If This Isn't Nice, I Don't Know What Is, titled after a Kurt Vonnegut quote, pulled together several singles he had been dropping for years. He self produces most of his work and has a habit of releasing songs the same day he finishes them. More recently he co produced "Too Late" on SZA's album SOS, collaborated with Remi Wolf on the single "Pool", and released his second album Loveseat in June 2024.
