About
Also known as: Tanerélle Stephens
Tanerélle funded her debut EP, 11:11, through Kickstarter, and that DIY streak has stayed with her. She started her own label, Mama Saturn Enterprises, to put out music her way, and her cosmic imagery (Mama Saturn, Starseed, Love from NGC 7318) runs through the titles of her singles. The Atlanta born singer and songwriter blends neo soul, funk, pop and R&B, and her track Nothing Without You landed in Season 3 of HBO's Insecure. She has supported Ari Lennox and JoJo on tour, co composed the score for the film Nanny, which earned a Black Reel Awards nomination for Outstanding Original Score, and put out a run of singles including Better Days, which also got a COLORS show performance. In 2024 she signed to Republic Records, and she has kept the releases coming since, most recently with Feels Like Love.
