About
Texas Flood take their name from the Larry Davis blues standard, and that reverence for the source material runs through everything the Belgrade band does. Formed in 2006 by guitarist and vocalist Nenad Zlatanović, a former junior wrestling state champion turned club security chief, the group built a reputation as one of Serbia's most serious blues rock acts. Their 2009 debut Grinnin' In Your Face brought in some heavyweight guests, including harmonica player Billy Gibson from the US, Austrian organist Raphael Wressnig, and Hungarian guitarist Little G Weevil. That same year they opened for ZZ Top in Belgrade. A decade on, Tražim ljude kao ja paid tribute to classic Yugoslav rock acts like Bijelo Dugme and Azra. In 2024 they dropped a double live album recorded at Belgrade Youth Center, and Zlatanović also starred in a Serbian public television documentary shot across the United States.
