Few artists can claim the kind of crossover reach that Thalía has built over three decades. The Mexican singer and actress first broke through as part of Timbiriche in the late 1980s before launching a solo career that made her one of the best selling Latin music artists of all time, with over 25 million records sold worldwide. Billboard has ranked her among the greatest Latin music artists ever, and her nickname, the Queen of Latin Pop, is hard to argue with. Her telenovelas, including the beloved María trilogy and Rosalinda, have aired in 180 countries and reportedly reached around 2 billion viewers. On the music side, albums like Amor a la Mexicana, Arrasando, and the live record Primera Fila became genuine Latin classics. More recently she has been putting out collaborations with artists like Maluma, Prince Royce, and Natti Natasha, keeping her sound fresh while staying rooted in Latin pop. She also holds a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
