Few pop punk bands from the early 2000s have a song that crosses the ten million shipments mark, but The All American Rejects pulled it off with "Gives You Hell", which peaked at number 4 on the Billboard Hot 100 and earned a Diamond certification from the RIAA in 2026. The Stillwater, Oklahoma four piece built that kind of momentum across three platinum or better certified albums, with Move Along alone spawning three top 15 Hot 100 hits in "Dirty Little Secret", "Move Along", and "It Ends Tonight". Over 12 million albums sold worldwide tells you this wasn't a one hit story. After years of singles and touring, the band finally returned with their fifth studio album Sandbox, announced in early 2025. The title track dropped as the lead single in April 2025, followed by "Easy Come, Easy Go" in June, signaling a proper comeback for a group that clearly still has things to say. Tyson Ritter handles the words, Nick Wheeler the music, and together they've kept that sharp, hook driven sound intact across more than two decades.
