About
The Doors in Concert is a Dutch tribute act dedicated to recreating the raw, unpredictable energy that made The Doors one of the most electrifying live bands of their era. The group zeroes in on what made those original shows so compelling: the brooding psychedelic rock sound and the commanding stage presence associated with Jim Morrison. To get as close to the source as possible, the band plays on the same types of instruments The Doors used, keeping the sonic character tight and faithful. The four piece lineup features Danny van Veldhuizen on vocals, Willem Vonhof on keys, Daan van de Ven on percussion, and Sander Compeer on guitar. Together they aim to capture not just the music but the look and feel of a classic Doors performance.
