About
George Lynch and Jeff Pilson, two veterans of the classic Dokken lineup, formed The End Machine with an explicit goal: recreate that 1980s melodic hard rock sound they helped define. Lynch has said as much in interviews, describing the band as an intentional return to that era. The Los Angeles supergroup rounded out its original lineup with fellow Dokken alumnus Mick Brown on drums and Robert Mason of Warrant on vocals, and released their self titled debut through Frontiers Records in 2019. The band has kept moving since then. Steve Brown stepped in permanently on drums for the second album, Phase2, in 2021, with Pilson again handling production duties. Then came a bigger shake up: vocalist Girish Pradhan, known from Girish And The Chronicles, replaced Mason ahead of the third record. That album, The Quantum Phase, landed in 2024, proving The End Machine has no shortage of momentum even as the lineup continues to evolve.
