Bristol's The Fauns have been quietly building a devoted following since 2007, fuelled largely by word of mouth rather than any big publicity machine. Their self titled debut shifted over 5000 copies that way, earning support from DJ Steve Lamacq along the road. The four piece, fronted by vocalist Alison Garner, trades in a dreamy, atmospheric rock sound that caught the attention of Clint Mansell, who remixed their track 'Fragile' for a limited edition Record Store Day release. Their second album, Lights, came out via Invada Records in 2013 and saw them tour Europe with shoegaze act Alcest. After a long gap, they returned with How Lost in 2024, previewed by singles 'How Lost' and 'Mixtape Days' in late 2023, showing the band still very much has a pulse.
