About
The Golden Boys are a trio of working Dutch musicians who play stripped back acoustic versions of rock and pop classics. The lineup is Ron Knoester, who also plays in The Clarks, Martin van der Starre, known from The Analogues, and Dennis van Hoorn, who has played in the Najib Amhali band. Their repertoire runs from the 1950s through the 1990s. Golden Earring is a regular in their sets, alongside The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, the Everly Brothers, Crowded House, CCR, Fleetwood Mac, Otis Redding, Elvis, Bruce Springsteen and Bill Withers. It's a sing along songbook played with a relaxed, pub style feel, and the kind of set where you'll probably know most of the words.
