About
Founded in Tilburg in 1986, The Harmony Singers is a male choir with a roster of roughly 15 to 20 members. Their repertoire spans close harmony and barbershop alongside opera melodies, musical theatre favourites, and songs drawn from a wide range of countries including Germany, England, Russia, Spain, France, Ukraine and the Netherlands. Performances mix a cappella singing with piano accompaniment, the latter provided when needed by the choir's own conductor. That conductor is Wil van Leijsen, a singing teacher as well as a choral director, who has led the group since its early days.
