About Concerto Italiano
Few ensembles have done more to bring Baroque and Renaissance repertoire back to life than Concerto Italiano. Founded by harpsichordist Rinaldo Alessandrini, the Italian early music group made its Rome debut in 1984 with Cavalli's La Calisto and has been a major force in historically informed performance ever since.
