About
The Manges are an Italian pop punk band from La Spezia who have been at it since 1993, which makes them one of the longer running names in the Ramones loving corner of European punk. Their 2001 debut, The Manges 'R' Good Enough, drew exactly those Ramones comparisons and even included a cover of Cyndi Lauper's "Goonies 'R' Good Enough". They have strong ties to The Queers, having toured Europe with them and recorded the 2003 split album Acid Beaters together. Former Queers bassist Phillip Hill produced their second album, Go Down. Screeching Weasel also covered the Manges song "I Will Always Do" on Teen Punks in Heat. Since then the band has kept a steady flow going: Bad Juju, All Is Well, Punk Rock Addio and Book Of Hate For Good People, plus a long list of 7 inch singles and splits with bands like CJ Ramone and The Peawees.
