The Montvales are an American duo made up of Sally Buice and Molly Rochelson, rooted in the folk, bluegrass and country traditions of their home turf around Knoxville and Asheville. Their warm vocal harmonies are the thread that runs through everything they do, whether the song is a quiet folk meditation or something with a sharper country edge. They built their catalogue with the albums Heartbreak Summer Camp and Born Strangers before releasing Path Of Totality, an ambitious record that uses the 2024 solar eclipse as a metaphor for social change in the United States.
