About
The Music Of Genesis is a German five piece tribute act that puts the spotlight on one particular stretch of the Genesis catalogue. Their setlist draws on A Trick of the Tail, Wind & Wuthering,...And Then There Were Three... and Duke, so expect the long, sprawling prog numbers alongside the classics from that era. The five musicians share a deep love for the band's work, and they put real effort into recreating its trademark sound down to the details. They stay close to the original repertoire instead of reinventing it. Audiences tend to single out how closely they match the originals, especially the vocals, which people describe as strikingly authentic. Their first tour in 2024 sold out, and the group has since built a following among Genesis fans well beyond Germany.
