Violins, cellos, and twin guitars in a rock band might sound like a lot, but The Orchestra (For Now) make it feel completely natural. The London seven piece, sometimes shortened to TO(FN), play a strain of art rock and progressive rock that has drawn comparisons to Black Country New Road, Geordie Greep, and Arcade Fire, placing them firmly within the buzzing Windmill scene. They won the 2024 Green Man Rising competition before most people had even heard of them, which says something about the impression they make live. Their debut EP Plan 75, released independently in early 2025, gathered their first three singles including 'Wake Robin' and 'Skins' into a tight four song statement. They followed it up the same year with Plan 76, with the single 'Hattrick' leading the way. The band is also working toward a full album, so there is clearly no shortage of ideas in the room.
