Named after a notorious Hell's Kitchen gang from the turn of the 20th century, The Parlor Mob built their reputation the old fashioned way: by being a genuinely ferocious live band. Hailing from Asbury Park, New Jersey, they caught the ear of Capitol Records early on, then Roadrunner Records, and put out their full length debut And You Were a Crow in 2008 with producer Jacquire King. The track "Hard Times" cracked the Billboard rock charts, and the record earned them a spot on iTunes as one of the best new rock artists that year. Their 2011 follow up Dogs turned out to be their biggest moment, landing iTunes Rock Album of the Year and hitting No. 5 on Top Heatseekers. The single "Into the Sun" made the Billboard Rock Chart Top 40 and even soundtracked a Pittsburgh Penguins playoff campaign. After a stretch of quiet, they signed with Britannia Row Recordings in 2018 and released their fourth album Dark Hour in 2019, with the single Someday serving as its opening statement.
