About
Re union were a Dutch duo who got their moment in the spotlight at the Eurovision Song Contest 2004, representing the Netherlands with the song Without You. Paul de Corte and Fabrizio Pennisi had previously crossed paths in the Dutch boy band All Of Us before going their own ways when that group split, then reuniting as a pair to compete in the Nationaal Songfestival and winning the right to go to Istanbul. They qualified for the Eurovision final by finishing sixth in the semi final, performing last out of 22 countries, though the final itself was a tougher ride and Without You landed in 20th place. Back home the song did solid business, reaching number 12 on the Dutch singles chart. A follow up, If You Love Somebody, came out in September 2004 and peaked at number 36, after which the two went their separate ways.
