About
The Story Tellers bring together some of the most celebrated guitarists in the Benelux, including Harry Sacksioni and Mark Bogert, both regarded as the finest players in their respective styles in the region. Joined by multi instrumentalist Hubert Heeringa and presenter Syb van der Ploeg, the group crafts an intimate show built around music, storytelling and atmospheric visuals. Their repertoire draws on the legacies of guitar icons such as Eric Clapton, Mark Knopfler, Carlos Santana, David Gilmour, Jimi Hendrix and many others, weaving performances together with the stories behind the players and the songs. The concept is part of a wider family of productions from the same creators, which also includes The Stones vs The Beatles Battle, Motel Westcoast and The Best of Britain. Their previous edition of The Story Tellers was warmly received by both audiences and theatres, earning praise as a real gem of an evening.
