About
The Tabascos are a punk band from Haarlem who have been at it for more than 25 years and are still playing today. Their sound is raw and uncompromising, built on tight rhythms and a live show meant to get a crowd moving and sweating. In their earlier days they tore up the stage at Bevrijdingspop, and they played Haarlem rooms like the Patronaat, the Slachthuis and the Lange Heertje. They share a long history with fellow Haarlem punk band Sellfish, and the two have only occasionally ended up on the same bill. That longevity has earned The Tabascos a spot in the story of Haarlem's punk scene.
