About
The Wanderers are a band from Dordrecht who play classic rock and roll and rockabilly, and they have built a following by doing it with a lot of fun and very little pretence. Their repertoire leans on the songs of the 1950s greats: Elvis Presley, Buddy Holly, Little Richard, Chuck Berry and Jerry Lee Lewis. This is music made for moving. Expect swinging guitars, familiar hits and melodies that stick, played with an easy enthusiasm that suits the material. It works whether you grew up with these records or are just discovering what the fuss was about. The band keeps the sound of that golden era alive without turning it into a museum piece, and the whole thing comes across as a party rather than a history lesson.
