About
TikTok Tammo is a Dutch performer who blends cabaret with folk music, delivering shows that sit somewhere between stand up comedy and a live concert. His theatrical production Tammo Zingt Folk takes the audience on an imaginary trip to Ireland, built around a comedic storyline and accompanied by Irish folk classics. What makes the show distinctly his own is that he rewrites the lyrics of those folk songs into Dutch regional dialect, texts he either adapts or composes himself. He performs the show with a five piece live band, and it has sold out two full theatre tours before returning for a reprise run.
